Bayern Munich midfielder Luis Gustavo is hoping to be an important part of Pep Guardiola's plans and see out his contract with the German champions, despite rumours suggesting he will be sold this summer.
Gustavo, 25, faces a tough test to cement his place in the starting line-up next season, with Javi Martinez likely to be Guardiola's first choice.
Questions have been raised over the Brazil international's future at the club and although he accepts he is no certainty to stay at the Allianz Arena, Gustavo hopes he can at least see out his contract.
"I am under contract," he told Globo Esporte. "I want to stay but let's see what happens. I will present myself to the new manager on July 18 and let's see what his decision will be.
"This title doesn't make me feel that I am certain to play. It's always good to be valued, to see your job is being done well. Everyone who works feels happy to be valued.
"Now, let's see what will happen. I want to see out my contract. Our team is very good and I feel well in Munich, but let's see."
