3 Sporting KC players named All-Stars

Fans selected three players from Sporting Kansas City to the MLS All-Star team as the league released "Fan XI" voting results Sunday.

Graham Zusi, Matt Besler and Aurelien Collin will be eligible to be chosen for the MLS squad as the All-Stars face Italian side Roma on July 31 in Kansas City, Kan.

The fans vote for 10 of 32 players named All-Stars, but none of them is guaranteed to be selected by coach Peter Vermes for the 18-man matchday squad.

Joining Zusi and Besler in the fan voting are three other United States internationals: the LA Galaxy's Omar Gonzalez, Houston's Brad Davis and San Jose's Chris Wondolowski.

The final member of the Fan XI is chosen by a "FIFA Soccer 13" video game contest that ends Wednesday.
