John Obi Mikel has told Sky Sports there is a possibility he could leave Chelsea this summer.
Mikel, 26, has not returned to pre-season training with his team-mates due to his participation for Nigeria in the Confederations Cup.
As such it remains to be seen whether he will figure prominently in new manager Jose Mourinho’s plans with a number of midfielders linked with a move to the club, including Marco van Ginkel.
He said: "I have a four-year contract with Chelsea, but you know, in football you can never guess, one day you are here, the next day you might leave.”
The midfielder was recently quoted as saying he would be interested in a move to Galatasaray, however the interview was later found to be false.
