Parma striker Ishak Belfodil has said he hopes his proposed move to Inter Milan goes through soon, adding: “Who would not like to play for them?”
Belfodil, 21, said he was awaiting news of developments from his agent, with the two clubs in negotiations over the transfer.
Either fellow striker Antonio Cassano or defender Matias Silvestre would be likely to move the other way, and Belfodil told fcinternews.it: “I told my agent to call only when there is something real and true, and I still have not received any communication.
“Parma and Inter are dealing with it, and everyone knows that. Inter are a great club and, although they had a poor season, they have a great history. Who would not like to play for them?"
Belfodil, who was born in Algeria but has represented France at youth levels, moved to Serie A from Lyon last year.
