An amateur goalkeeper in Bosnia completed a 90-minute match and conceded just one goal, despite being shot in the head by a stray bullet.
Dusko Krtalica, 51, was competing in an amateur tournament in the Sarajevo suburb of Boljakov Potok.
The shot-stopper soon complained of a headache, but assumed it was brought about after he hit his head on a goalpost while making a save.
Krtalica then went on to complain of a stiff arm and of trouble speaking, before being driven to a local hospital.
According to Saraejevo newspaper, Dnenvi Avas, the doctors found a 9mm bullet lodged in the 'keeper's cranium.
Krtalica is now in a stable condition after having the bullet removed in surgery.
Police discovered, after searching the local area, that the bullet had been fired into the air by a man celebrating a wedding in the suburb.
Dnenvi Avas claim that a 42-year-old man was arrested near the pitch.
