No bids yet for Everton star Fellaini

Everton have yet to receive any bids for Marouane Fellaini despite reported interest from several clubs, a club source has told ESPN.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with moves for Fellaini and Everton chairman Bill Kenwright acknowledged earlier this month that a £24 million release clause in his contract would make it impossible to resist any approach.

But both Kenwright and new Everton manager Roberto Martinez have indicated that they believe the 25-year-old will stay at Goodison Park.

Recent reports that Arsenal had triggered the release clause in Fellaini's contract were premature, although a bid from Emirates Stadium could still materialise.

Former Everton boss David Moyes, who brought the midfielder to Goodison Park from Standard Liege for £15 million in 2008, is also understood to be weighing up a move to take him to Manchester United.

Martinez's position has not changed since telling the Sunday Mirror on June 9 that he was relaxed about speculation surrounding Fellaini. The manager said: "I don't think it's an issue at all with Marouane. Transfer speculation is unstoppable when you have been as successful as Everton.

"You will always get other teams who admire and want to take your best players. That's normal and happens everywhere. It happens at Real Madrid, at Manchester United and Everton.  So there's nothing we have to speak about."
