Hiddink extends Anzhi contract
Anzhi Makhachkala coach Guus Hiddink has signed a one-year extension to his contract, quashing reports that he could be leaving the Russian club.
Hiddink, 66 - who has been at the club since 2012 - had been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, whose coach Carlo Ancelotti appears likely to move to Real Madrid.
He had also previously indicated that he was considering retirement at the end of last season but, having guided Anzhi to third place in the table, has opted to extend his stay.
Anzhi board director Konstantin Remchyukov was reported as writing on Twitter: "Both sides exercise the old contract's option [to extend the deal] to their mutual satisfaction. I am glad."
