Levante have appointed Joaquin Caparros as their new coach on a one-year-deal.
The 57-year-old takes the reins from Juan Ignacio Martinez, who was told earlier this week he would not be offered a new contract when his current one expires on June 30.
A statement on the club's official website confirmed Caparros, who has previously coached Villarreal, Sevilla and Deportivo La Coruna, will be presented to the media on Tuesday.
Levante missed out on qualifying for the Europa League on the final day of the season after a 1-1 draw with Real Betis saw them finish 11th in the Primera Division.
