Lyon have stepped up their interest in Sebastien Corchia with the Sochaux right-back closing in on a €5 million summer switch to the seven-time Ligue 1 champions.
OL president Jean-Michel Aulas, 64, confirmed on Tuesday that French international right-back Anthony Reveillere, 33, had rejected the club's offers of a contract extension and would be leaving the Stade de Gerland this summer with Corchia, 22, set to replace him.
"I can confirm it. It's news, not a rumour," Sochaux president Laurent Pernet told L'Est Republican when asked about speculation linking the former France Under-21 international captain to OL.
Corchia has reportedly visited OL's Tola Vologe training centre and met with coach Remi Garde, who confirmed the club was looking to reinforce the right-back position and told L'Equipe on Wednesday: "We're interested in him, but he's not the only one."
Corchia, who played in all but four of Sochaux's Ligue 1 games this season, has also been linked with Arsenal while Bayern Munich, Juventus, Roma and Napoli have also been mentioned in the French media, the latter most recently in this week's France Football, as potential suitors.
