World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro said he would 'run' to Real Madrid if rumoured inbound coach Carlo Ancelotti called on his services.
The former Madrid, Juventus and Parma defender is the latest name to be linked to Ancelotti's backroom staff should the current Paris Saint-Germain manager take the hot-seat at the Bernabeu.
However, Ancelotti still needs to free himself from the contract binding him to the French capital.
But should the 53-year-old tactician join the La Liga runner-ups, then expect Cannavaro heading straight to Spain.
"If Real Madrid and Carlo were to call, I'd run to them," he told Italian news agency ANSA.
