Internacional coach Dunga has revealed his club has "made contact" with AC Milan in an attempt to sign forward Robinho in the summer.
Robinho, 29, was linked with a return to Brazil in January after attracting interest from former club Santos and a training ground bust-up with Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri earlier this week fuelled rumours he will seek a release from his current contract.
Dunga, who coached Robinho while in charge of the Brazil national team, insists Internacional is the right club for the former Manchester City star leading into next year's World Cup.
"Many clubs have tried to bring him back to Brazil," Dunga said. "Milan want to keep him, but we have made contact to assess the situation.
"This may be the right time for him to come home. A lot of players want to return to Brazil for economic reasons and for the World Cup. Everything is here for him to do well."
