I will give my all for BVB, Gotze says

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze insists he will do everything in his power to beat future club Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on Saturday.

• Hummels may be fit for final
• Dortmund taunt Bayern
• Rizzoli to take charge of final

Gotze, 20, has agreed a €37 million move to Bayern at the end of the season, which has prompted outrage among Dortmund fans. He was not given an official farewell ahead of the club's final home game of the season on Saturday, with the club appearing to want to avoid sparking negativity.

Even so, Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has expressed his confidence that Gotze will be fully committed to his current side if he is selected at Wembley, and the Germany international told Bild: "To win the final in my last game for Dortmund would be by far the greatest for me.

"I want to take part in the game in London, absolutely, and will give my all for Borussia. I want to help the team lift the trophy."

It may be that Gotze is ruled out of the game, having suffered a muscle injury early in the second leg of the semi-final against Real Madrid, but he is hopeful he will be available.

"I feel fine," he said. "I feel much better. I am doing all I can to be fit for Wembley."

Meanwhile, Felipe Santana looks increasingly likely to leave Dortmund for arch-rivals Schalke.

Schalke boss Jens Keller, speaking after his team had booked their place in next season's Champions League qualifiers with a 2-1 victory over Freiburg, said: "We are interested."

The club's general manager, Horst Heldt, added: "We are interested in that player but, out of respect towards other clubs still involved in competitions, we neither want to announce anything yet nor comment on anything."

Santana, 27, whose last-minute goal against Malaga helped Dortmund continue their Champions League adventure this season, could cost Schalke as little as €1 million as a result of a clause in his contract.
