Internacional striker Diego Forlan would love to play in Major League Soccer, he told a Uruguayan radio station this week.
Forlan, who won the Golden Ball as the best player at the 2010 World Cup, said there have never been any offers to bring him to MLS, but he would be open to the idea.
"I like the MLS a lot," Forlan said on Sport 890, according to MLSSoccer.com. "I have gone there on holiday a lot. I would love to go."
Forlan said he is happy with the challenge of playing for Internacional, but wouldn't rule out a transfer in the future.
"The idea is to fulfill the (Internacional) contract, but that is football, you never know, then comes an offer that comes to the club, not (from) a team or a country that you have thought about going to," Forlan said, according to Esto.
