Franck Ribery has suggested he may only feature in one of France's two summer friendlies in South America with his potential triple-winning season with Bayern Munich running into June.
Having clinched the Bundesliga title, Ribery, 30, faces the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on May 25 before completing the domestic season in Germany with the DFB Cup final on June 1 against Stuttgart.
Didier Deschamps, 44, is due to name his squad on Thursday for Les Bleus' friendlies with Uruguay on June 5 and Brazil four days later. Ribery told RTL he will discuss with Deschamps him perhaps skipping the first of those encounters.
He said: "We'll see, but given that we're playing in the cup final on June 1 in Berlin, and if we win, we'll celebrate with the trophy in Munich on the second...It's up to Didier, but it seems to me to be difficult to play the first game, and that I should rather play the second."
