Tijuana stuns Palmeiras in Brazil
Mexican side Club Tijuana have set up a Copa Libertadores quater-final showdown with Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro after knocking out Brazil powerhouse Palmeiras.
Tijuana shocked the homeside 2-1 in Brazil after the first-leg ended in a 0-0 draw.
Tijuana took a first-half lead when Colombian forward Duvier Riascos found the back of the net, before Fernando Arce doubled their advantage early in the second-half.
But former Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras struck back in the 62nd minute with a strike to Elierce Barbosa de Souza.
And as the Brazilians searched for the equaliser, the game began to unravel for Tijuana as defender Pablo Cesar Aguilar was given his marching orders for collecting two yellow cards.
But the Mexican outfit was able to hang onto their slender lead and will look to a glmaour tie against Mineiro and their former World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho.
