Sampdoria president Edoardo Garrone has confirmed young striker Mauro Icardi is heading to Inter Milan.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs, including a number of Premier League sides, but will stay in the Serie A next season.
But despite admitting Icardi’s exit, Garrone was loathe to speculate on a number of the club’s other stars.
"There is a promise made to Inter and I'm used to keeping my promises," Garrone told fcinter1908.
"Now that the season is over, the deal will be closed. We have agreed a deal without any players in exchange.
"Obiang? He has had a great season, as had Kristicic, and unsellable players don't exist anymore. But Sampdoria don't want to give those two up, at least for another year."
