Hazard: Mourinho is the world's best

Chelsea star Eden Hazard is excited about the prospect of playing under Jose Mourinho next season.

Mourinho appears certain to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and is widely expected to return to Stamford Bridge, where he won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups between 2004 and 2007.

Several players have spoken of their desire to see Mourinho back at the club, and Hazard, who arrived last summer from Lille, would relish the chance to play under the Portuguese.

• Lythell: Chelsea can end tough season on a high
• Ramires to forget Benfica ties for final
• Kundert: Jesus looks to resurrect Benfica

"I want him to come here," he said, according to L'Equipe. "Mourinho is the best coach in the world. Here, he is not a God, but he's not far off. Everyone is talking about it. The fans love him, the players love him. I will wait and see."

Hazard stressed, though, that his immediate focus is on "finishing the season", as the Blues prepare for Wednesday's Europa League final with Benfica and then Sunday's Premier League game at home to Everton.

The Belgium international is a doubt for the Benfica match, having sustained a hamstring injury towards the end of Sunday's 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, but he travelled to Amsterdam as part of the 25-man squad and will hope to prove his fitness.

Captain John Terry, who picked up an ankle injury at Villa and had been unsure whether he would recover, was also part of the squad, along with John Obi Mikel, who has missed the club's last five games with a hip injury.

The Nigeria midfielder had recently suggested he would be fit, saying: "I want to play in the final and that's what I intend to do."
