Ronaldinho's Copa display lights it up
SAO PAULO -- Ronaldinho seems to be thriving again just at the right time.
The two-time world player of the year significantly increased his chances of making Brazil's squad for next month's Confederations Cup after a superb performance in the Copa Libertadores.
Ronaldinho "put on a private show," as read a headline in a local newspaper on Thursday, a day after leading Atletico Mineiro to a 4-1 rout of Sao Paulo and a spot in the quarterfinals.
The performance comes just five days before coach Luiz Felipe Scolari announces Brazil's squad for the World Cup warm-up tournament that begins on June 15.
