Toure fit for final

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has declared he is fit to play in Saturday's FA Cup final against Wigan.

• FA Cup final preview
• Kevin Keegan's memories
• Wade talks to McManaman
• Toure out for another trophy
• FA Cup final Tactics Board

Toure came off in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Swansea and missed Tuesday's 1-0 win over West Brom with muscle fatigue but the Ivory Coast international, who scored City's winner in their last FA Cup final in 2011, revealed he is already fit.

"I am good," he said. "Sometimes it is difficult to play all the games at the same level and sometimes you can get an injury, but we have worked on that, trying to keep injury far away and try to concentrate on delivering at the weekend.

"I am already fit. I started training three days ago and I am well in now. I want to deliver a good game and help the team to achieve something important."

Fellow midfielder James Milner is hoping City can win a third major honour in as many seasons.

They were FA Cup winners in 2011 and Premier League champions last season and the England international said: "You want to keep that momentum of winning trophies, and win as many medals and trophies as you can. The FA Cup is a great tournament - we won it once and hopefully we can do it again."
