Agent: Real Madrid want Casemiro

Sao Paulo midfielder Casemiro could be about to make his loan move to Spanish giants Real Madrid a permanent stay according to his agent Joseph Lee.

Casemiro could make his move to Real Madrid permanent according to the player's agent.

But the Brazilian club has denied there has been any contact from Madrid for the 21-year-old.

Casemiro has been a bit-part player at the Bernabeu, failing to make strong impression under Jose Mourinho.

But in an interview with Estado de S. Paulo, Lee said Madrid officials had been impressed with the Brazil international.

"It's certain that Real Madrid will want to keep the player, but they need to reach an agreement with Sao Paulo first," he said.

However, Sao Paulo vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes believed it was ‘premature’ to discuss any possible future transfer for Casemiro.

"It's premature to talk about this,” Lopes aid. "They haven't contacted us yet and there is a confidentiality clause."
