Guardiola rules out Barca return

Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola insists he has no regrets over his decision to leave the Catalan club and has ruled out a return to the Nou Camp.

• Tyler: Changing of the guard
• Tomas: Messy without Messi
• Xavi: Don't write us off

Guardiola led Barca to 14 trophies during his four-year tenure at the club before stepping away from the game at the end of last season.

The Spaniard will replace Jupp Heynckes at Bayern Munich in the summer and denied he is hoping to return to Barca after a stint in the Bundesliga.

"I was happy at Barcelona," he said. "I had a wonderful relationship with the people I worked with. I am very proud to have been part of Barcelona, but life goes on and we need to pursue other goals. I felt a very large peace with myself when I left. I did the best I could.

"Everything has a beginning and an end. And the end comes when you discover that it's enough. When you makes the decision to leave a club, it's better than when the decision is taken for you."
