Robben thrilled to reach final again

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben immediately turned his attention to a Champions League final date with Borussia Dortmund, after helping the Bavarains clinch a place at Wembley with a 3-0 victory over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Just as they did in last week's 4-0 first-leg victory, Bayern were in irresistible form as they destroyed the 2009 and 2011 European champions with a ruthless display.

Now, Jupp Heynckes side have a third final in four years to look forward to, with Robben delighted at the method of Bayern's progress.

"I think it was a terrific performance," Robben told Sky Sports. "We made a little bit of history here. We played against a team that has dominated Europe for the past five years. It is amazing.

"I think now we have to stay calm. At this moment we are playing good football and we have to enjoy that. Now we are in the final – it's time to win it now."

Bayern captain Philipp Lahm said he and his team-mates would definitely find time to toast their memorable victory, telling uefa.com: "I'm sure we'll celebrate with a few beers. We took nothing for granted and beat Barcelona on their home ground.

"I've always said that we have special characters in our squad and that we are capable of great things."

Fellow defender David Alaba later tweeted: "Finaaaaaaaaaale! Great job boys! Amazing! Unbeliveable! Thank you Jesus! Wembley wir kommen! #miasanmia #fcb #cl-final #da27"

Meanwhile, Heynckes praised his side's 'clever' performance but admitted it was clear Barcelona struggled without the presence of Lionel Messi.

"I think it was clearly noticeable that my team entered this game extremely focused," he told reporters after the match. "We played great right from the start. However, there is no denying it – Barcelona is a different team without (Lionel) Messi.

"Still, I am sure no one expected us to win 7-0 on aggregate. I would not say that we witnessed an end of an era tonight. Barcelona were missing a lot of players and we showed a clever performance."
