Dundee boss John Brown has been named Scottish Premier League manager of the month for April after staving off relegation with three wins out of three.
Brown, who had taken charge on an interim basis in February, has ensured Dundee still have a mathematical chance of avoiding the drop as they remain eight points behind St Mirren with three games still to play. Dundee had won only four games all season until the turn of the month.
Brown, who was handed a two-year contract at Dens Park last week, has also revealed that midfielder Gary Harkins is training again after sustaining a rib injury during training.
"I'm a bit surprised but it's a boost," he told The Courier. "It looks as though it might be bruised ribs instead of broken ones. We'll still have to have a look at him but it's more encouraging than it was a few days ago."
