West Ham defender Winston Reid has signed a new two-year contract with the club which will keep him at Upton Park until 2015.
Reid, 24, has become an integral part of manager Sam Allardyce’s first team, starting 63 games in two seasons, and helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League last season before making a successful return to the top-flight this campaign which has seen them achieve safety with four games to spare.
Reid told the club’s official website: "I've really enjoyed being here. It's a good club and we've done really well over the last couple of years. Now, I'm looking forward to the next two years.
"I think I have played some good football over the last two years but that goes for the whole team as well. Hopefully we can continue that. Of course we now plan to build on the last two seasons."
