Gundogan: We're not in the final yet

Germany international Ilkay Gundogan has urged his Borussia Dortmund team-mates to keep their intensity in the Champions League semi-final second leg at Real Madrid on Tuesday.

A stunning performance from Dortmund and Robert Lewandowksi gave the Bundesliga outfit a 4-1 first-leg win over Jose Mourinho's side - but Gundogan, 22, warned that the job was not done yet.

"We are in a very, very good position," the Germany international told kicker. "But at home, Real will always be capable of winning 3-0.

"It will certainly not be easy for Real, but we'd be well advised to not talk about the final before the game."

His words were echoed by Poland international Jakub Blazczykowski, who warned that Dortmund would be plunged into "a war" at the Bernabeu. "We need to win that war," he said.

And centre-back Neven Subotic told Ruhr Nachrichten: "None of us believes we are through to the final with the 4-1."

During the first leg at Dortmund's Westfalenstadion, Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen for much of the game - but still scored to make it 1-1 four minutes from half-time.

The goal gave Madrid a lifeline and, while refusing to comment on the 4-1 result, the Portugal skipper said: "On Tuesday, I will talk on the pitch."

But Gundogan said: "Ronaldo will know that it will be very difficult against us. We will give it our all so that Ronaldo will be as frustrated after the game as he was last week in Dortmund.

"He can give an answer, but not an answer that will allow Real to make it to the final."
