Real win derby, Barca denied

Real Madrid came from behind to beat local rivals Atletico 2-1 and maintain their hegemony over Los Rojiblancos in the 21st century.

Jose Mourinho's depleted side produced an uninspiring performance and struggled for large parts of the game, but they made the most of their chances.

In the late game, Real Zaragoza boosted their survival hopes as they defeated Mallorca 3-2 at Estadio La Romareda. Tomer Hemed opened the scoring for Mallorca on 11 minutes but Francisco Montanes struck before half-time to level.

Helder Postiga then gave Zaragoza a 2-1 lead only for Javier Arizmendi to restore parity with eight minutes remaining. However, in the 88th minute, Ruben Rochina was on target to seal all three points for the home side.
