Brazil, Chile draw in friendly

Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari was left frustrated after his side drew 2-2 against Chile

Ten-man Brazil and Chile drew 2-2 in a friendly at the Mineirao stadium in Belo Horizonte.

The visitors took an early lead as midfielder Cesar Cortes' header was saved by Diego Cavalieri and Marc Gonzalez converted the rebound.

Brazil almost levelled in the 15th minute, but Jadson's long-range shot hit the crossbar, with Ronaldinho's rebound effort saved by Johnny Herrera, but they did get the equaliser when Rever headed home Neymar's corner.

During the second half, Alexandre Pato assisted Neymar, who only had to push the ball into the goal to fire Brazil ahead, 2-1, in the 54th minute.

But striker Eduardo Vargas, who plays for Brazilian side Gremio, fired his side level in the 64th minute with a superb long-range shot to give Chile the draw. In injury time, Braulio Leal fouled Fernando Meneses and was sent off.

Home fans booed their team and shouted when the Chileans exchanged a string of passes.
