Aubameyang burgled after cup triumph
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed St Etienne's Coupe de la Ligue victory parade on Sunday after being burgled.
Some 42,000 fans lined the streets of St Etienne as the team celebrated their 1-0 success over Rennes on an open-top bus, but Aubameyang, 23, was conspicuous by his absence as he went through formalities with police.
Les Verts' leading scorer had played his part at the Stade de France on Saturday night to help his club secure their first major piece of silverware since 1981, but the Gabon international striker returned from Paris to find his home in the village of Fraisses ransacked.
While audio equipment and other objects were missing, Aubameyang also found three cars stolen.
