Lionel Messi included in Barca squad

Lionel Messi has been included in Barcelona's squad for its Champions League semifinal first leg against Bayern Munich, although he has yet to receive the medical all-clear to return to action.

The Argentina superstar has missed Barca's last three La Liga matches as the Catalan giants decided not to take any unnecessary risks with the hamstring problem Messi sustained in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Messi, who featured as a substitute in the second leg against PSG, trained normally Sunday morning and, even though he is still waiting for the green light from Barca's medical team to resume playing, he has been included in Tito Vilanova's 21-man traveling party for Tuesday's trip to Bayern.

The only players missing from the squad are injured defenders Carles Puyol and Javier Mascherano, plus the suspended Adriano.
