Klopp commits future to Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has committed his future to the club but described the speculation that had linked him with a move to Real Madrid as flattering.

Klopp is under contract at Dortmund until 2016 and has led the club to two league titles, a DFB-Pokal and the DFL Supercup since moving to Signal Iduna Park in 2008.

A place in this season's Champions League semi-finals against Real Madrid has further endeared Klopp to the Dortmund faithful, but his success has also generated interest in the coach from a number of European rivals.

The former Mainz boss has assured Dortmund he wants to see out his contract with the club, but added that he would quiz Real coach Jose Mourinho about his future when the La Liga champions travel to Germany this month.

"I will be the coach of Borussia next season unless I do something bad and they decide to sack me," Klopp told reporters.

"Next term, I will coach Borussia. I have nothing more to say apart from to add that if people are mentioning me when they talk about who will replace Mou then that is a big honour for me. A true honour.

"It is better that they say they would like Klopp than if they said that they would like anyone except Klopp.

"But, just to say again, I will stay with Borussia for sure. I am going to ask Mourinho what he will do next season when he comes here, though."
