Lowly Evian stun PSG on penalties

Paris Saint-Germain crashed out of the Coupe de France at the quarter-final stage on penalties at the hands of Evian on Wednesday night.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva missed PSG's first two penalties as they lost the shootout 4-1 after the match finished 1-1.

Javier Pastore put the capital club in front after eight minutes, but Saber Khelifa levelled a minute before half-time. PSG finished the match with 10 men, with Thiago Motta sent off in the 118th minute.

It means Evian make the last four of the French Cup for the first time in their history.

Elsewhere, Cheick Diabate scored two late goals as Bordeaux won 3-2 at Lens. An 11th-minute own goal from visiting goalkeeper Cedric Carasso put Lens in front, but Gregory Sertic levelled in the 59th minute.

Diabate won it for Bordeaux with strikes in the 81st and 85th minutes before Zakarya Bergdich scored a second at the death for Lens.

Troyes will play Bordeaux and Evian will host Lorient in the semi-finals.
