The Football Association will not take any action against Jack Wilshere and Kevin Mirallas after the pair sparked a tunnel bust-up during Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Everton on Tuesday.
Wilshere seemed to react angrily to Mirallas squirting water in his direction as the players left the field at half-time during the hard-fought contest, with TV pictures showing the England international clashing with his rival in the tunnel.
The fracas saw team-mates from both sides join in before match officials were required to step in and restore order.
The FA is believed to have overlooked the incident as it only viewed it as a minor skirmish.
The Premier League clash was a feisty affair that featured a number of heavy challenges from Everton players. Darron Gibson was lucky to stay on the pitch after two fouls on Theo Walcott within ten minutes of each other.
"They (Everton) decided to make it very physical for us to disturb our game and sometimes went over the edge, but the referee had to make the right decisions," Gunners manager Arsene Wenger said after the game.
"If (a tunnel bust-up) was on TV, very soon everybody will know about it."
