Premier Showdown - Apr 13-14

Tommy Smyth picked up a much-needed victory last weekend, just when it seemed the Rest of the World were primed to overtake him at the top. So a bit of breathing space for Tommy, but can the ROTW keep him on his toes this weekend in a round shortened by the FA Cup semi-finals? Taking on our intrepid experts is Blair Smith. Blair tells us: " I'm a 31 year old who grew up in California, at age 11 I moved to England and played in the Reading Youth Academy until I was 15. I moved back to California to play with the State of California and get ready for college. "After high school I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara winning a National Championship in 2006. After college I moved to Norway and played for the SK Brann but injury kept me from making the first team squad and getting minutes. In 2010 I retired from soccer and currently am a student of Chiropractic in the Bay Area of California. "I support Arsenal Football Club. COME ON YOU GOONERS!!!" Game on!

For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPN journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.

A comfortable win for Blair largely thanks to his correct score at Arsenal, and Tommy just can't shake off the ROTW. It also means it is now mathematically impossible for Dale to hold on to his Showdown crown.
