Bayern fined for fan flares
Bayern Munich's title-winning celebrations have been tainted by a fine of €15,000 for the misbehaviour of fans at recent Bundesliga matches.
Bayern, who wrapped up their 23rd German title with six games to go at the weekend, have been punished for incidents at their away games at Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen when flares and smoke bombs were lit by travelling supporters.
The Bavarian club have accepted the fine, sanctioned by the German Football Association (DFB) on Monday.
Fans in the away fans' enclosure lit smoke bombs on two occasions at the Rhein-Neckar Arena in Sinsheim while flares were lit at the BayArena.
