Struggling Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim have sacked coach Marco Kurz and general manager Andreas Muller.
"TSG Hoffenheim will be coached by Markus Gisdol in the future," read the statement. "The 43-year-old will take over TSG as of now and was charged with the rebuilding of the squad beyond the current season by the club."
Gisdol will become Hoffenheim's fourth coach of the season. In December, Markus Babbel was sacked and current Greuther Furth boss Frank Kramer took over until the winter break.
Marco Kurz was appointed coach in late December. Under Kurz, Hoffenheim only managed to garner eight points while the demotion of former Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese's led to further criticism.
