Brazil side Vasco are resigned to losing in-demand defender Dede in the next transfer window according to the club’s manager, Paulo Autuori.
Dede is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Brazil and is favourite among Vasco supporters.
But with a host of European clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, AC Milan, Juventus all chasing Dede, Autuori believes the club can no longer hold onto the 24-year-old.
"I know Dedé is leaving, we talked about this since when I was negotiating with the club, I won't make up stories as that only complicates things,” Autuori said.
And the club’s director Cristiano Koehler backed up his manager’s comments, all but confirming Dede will soon no longer be a Vasco player recently to Rádio Globo.
"We have to work with a clear thinking in order not to mislead Vasco fans, Dedé will leave one day.” Koehler said.
