Zlatan Ibrahimovic ban reduced
UEFA on Monday reduced the red-card ban against Paris Saint-Germain's Zlatan Ibrahimovic to one match, opening the door for the star striker to play for the French club in its Champions League quarterfinal vs. Barcelona on April 2 at home in Parc des Princes.
The Swede earned a two-match ban after he was sent off in the final seconds of PSG's 2-1 win against Valencia on Feb. 16 in the round of 16 stage of the tournament.
Ibrahimovic missed PSG's second leg vs. Valencia to served half his ban.
Ibrahimovic, 31, has notched up 12 red cards in his career, although none for his national team.
