Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels has returned to light training but is unlikely to play in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at Malaga next week.
Hummels, 24, suffered an ankle injury during Dortmund's 2-1 derby defeat at Schalke earlier this month.
Although the Germany international returned to the training pitch on Monday, he was only able to do running and no date has been set for his return to full training.
Felipe Santana is again likely to deputise for Hummels at Malaga. The 27-year-old Brazilian defender, who is contracted to Dortmund until 2014 but has a reported €2 million release clause, recently said he would be interested in moving to the Premier League.
"We are the last people to tell him to start looking for a new club," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten.
"Felipe gives us a high degree of security. If he stayed, I would have no objections."
