Van Gaal recalls Sneijder, three new faces

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal has re-called Wesley Sneijder and included three new faces in his preliminary squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Romania.

Galatasaray midfielder Sneijder returns to the 26-man group having sat out last month's friendly draw with Italy, along with goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and Rafael van der Vaart.

Feyenoord duo Jean Paul Boetius and Tonny Vilhena and FC Utrecht defender Mike van der Hoorn have all been handed their first call-ups to the Oranje squad.

Netherlands, who have yet to drop a point in qualifying Group D, face Estonia in Amsterdam ArenA on March 22 before meeting Romania at the same venue four days later.
