Marcelo 'caught without driving licence'
Real Madrid full-back Marcelo was caught without a driving licence after being stopped by the city's traffic police, according to reports.
Spanish paper AS said on Wednesday that the Brazil international had been stopped near Madrid's Valdebebas training facility last week after not giving way correctly at a roundabout.
When officers asked for his driving licence, it was found that it had been withdrawn due to previous offences.
Last week, Madrid's France international forward Karim Benzema, 25, appeared in court lafter his Audi RS5 4.2 FSI was clocked doing 216kph (134mph) in a 100kph zone in early February.
His trial has been provisionally set for March 26 - the same day as a potentially vital World Cup 2014 qualifier between France and Spain.
El Pais reported last week that midfielder Michael Essien, on loan from Chelsea, had received a €200 fine for driving at 150kph on the same night, February 3, Benzema was caught.
Neither Madrid nor any of their players have commented.
