Morten Wieghorst could be the perfect replacement for Michael Laudrup, according to Swansea's manager.
Laudrup is being linked with a host of top jobs after leading the club to the League Cup - the first piece of major silverware in their history.
Swansea's chairman Huw Jenkins has already stated it might be difficult to keep Laudrup beyond his current contract, which runs until 2014.
And in their manager's opinion, his assistant boss and fellow countryman Wieghorst has what it takes to step into his shoes if and when he does leave for pastures new.
"I certainly believe he can be manager here," Laudrup told Wales Online.
"He has experience from Scottish football and is familiar with (English football). He has shown ability in Denmark, both with FC Nordsjaelland and the under-21 national team."
