Fulham manager Martin Jol is keen on making midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong’s loan deal at Craven Cottage permanent.
Frimpong, 21, was sent out on loan to west London in January after struggling to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans at Arsenal this season.
Despite having only been limited to two appearances since his arrival, Jol appears to have seen enough from the player to persuade him to try to make the deal permanent if possible.
"If there is the opportunity to take him, I would probably do it," Jol said.
Frimpong's development at Arsenal has been rocked by two serious cruciate knee injuries in the last three seasons. He has also been shipped out to Wolves and Charlton in the past for a chance to gain some regular first-team football.
