Lukaku Jr catches Milan's eye

AC Milan have been impressed by Anderlecht defender Jordan Lukaku, admits Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.

Lukaku, brother of Chelsea striker Romelu, has slipped out of the first-team plans at Anderlecht but impressed at a recent youth tournament in Viareggio.

The 18-year-old was part of the Anderlecht side that dismantled AC Milan's youth team 3-0 in the final, leaving Galliani pleased with what he saw.

"I was impressed," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgium Under-21 international made six appearances for Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League last season under Ariel Jacobs, but new coach John van den Brom has yet to give the youngster a first-team league appearance.
