Conte pleased by foreign job links

Juventus boss Antonio Conte says he is happy to be linked with summer moves to Chelsea and Real Madrid.

• Blog: Fans convincing against Siena

Conte has been in charge of the Bianconeri since 2011, and he led the club to the Serie A title last season without losing a single match in the campaign.

The 43-year-old only recently returned from a four-month ban but is still on course to retain the title he won in his first season in charge.

With the club currently sat seven points clear at the top of the table this term, and with a commanding 3-0 aggregate lead after the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Celtic, Conte's efforts have not gone unnoticed by some of Europe's other major clubs, and Conte admits a foreign job is a prospect he would consider.

He told Sky Italia after Sunday's 3-0 win over Siena: "I've always said that my ambition is to coach abroad one day and I'm pleased to receive marks of esteem from important clubs - it means that we are working well.

"They make Juventus happy too because it means that they chose well one-and-a-half years ago."

With Chelsea expected not to renew interim coach Rafa Benitez's contract and Jose Mourinho likely to depart Real Madrid in the summer, both clubs could approach Juventus for their highly coveted boss.

Conte's Juve took four points from Chelsea during this season's group stage of the Champions League, with the 3-0 defeat in Turin in November leading to the defending champions firing then manager Roberto Di Matteo.

Though pleased his efforts are being appreciated outside of Italy, Conte is focused on the job at hand, establishing Juventus back among the elite in Europe.

"At the moment I am just thinking about Juventus, to re-establish ourselves in Italy and to do well in Europe," he said.
