The final-round soccer clash that will determine the National Youth League champions has been postponed.
Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory, both topping the youth league table on 36 points, were set to battle in a curtain-raiser to Saturday's A-League match in Gosford.
But heavy rain meant no play was possible.
Football Federation Australia are yet to announce the rescheduled date, but the game is likely to take place next weekend.
The Mariners are the reigning youth champions, but will need to win their clash with Melbourne to go back-to-back as the Victory boast superior goal difference.
There is no finals series in the youth league.
The round 22 A-League fixture between the Victory and the Mariners is expected to proceed as planned.
