Manchester United have announced they will play a pre-season friendly in Hong Kong against Kitchee FC.
The match will take place on July 29 at the Hong Kong Stadium and will mark the first time United have played in the city since 2005.
Manchester United chief executive David Gill said on the club's official website: "The club has tremendous support throughout China and especially in Hong Kong.
"We have visited on a number of occasions and after an eight-year gap it's a pleasure for the team to be able to return to Hong Kong again this year.
"We are looking forward to engaging with our loyal fans, our commercial partners and most importantly preparing for the season ahead."
According to a survey conducted on behalf of United, of the club's 659 million supporters 108 million of those fans are based in China.
United also announced they will stop off in Japan to take on J.League outfit Yokohama F. Marinos on July 23 at Nissan Stadium.
