Leeds United have announced the signing of former England defender Stephen Warnock from Aston Villa.
Warnock, 31 moves to Elland Road and is reported to have joined on a free transfer after turning down a move to West Ham United.
Leeds, who have also brought striker Steve Morison to the club from Norwich, finalised the Warnock deal earlier on Thursday.
Leeds manager Neil Warnock told the club’s official website: "I'm absolutely delighted. Stephen has the experience I think we need in that position.
"He is a former international who, for whatever reason, has been allowed to leave Aston Villa.
"He's a player I've tried to sign a few times before, and I'm pleased he turned down West Ham to come here."
Warnock began at Liverpool and has also played for Blackburn and Villa in a career that has seen him clock up more than 200 Premier League appearances.
