Fiorentina wrap up Sissoko capture

Mohamed Sissoko has agreed to join Fiorentina on loan from Paris St Germain.

PSG have the opportunity to go top of Ligue 1 this weekend, as Montpellier aren't playing
Sissoko struggled for regular action at PSG this season

Sissoko, 28, will arrive at the Stadio Artemio Franchi after the African Nations Cup with a view to signing a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Before joining PSG from Juventus in 2011, he had spells at Liverpool, Valencia and Auxerre, where he had graduated from the youth academy.

The midfielder has earned 28 caps for Mali since making his international debut in 2004, and should represent his country against South Africa in Saturday's quarter-final match.
