Hernandez confident of treble tilt

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is confident his side's dominant performance in the 4-1 win over Fulham on Saturday gives them a strong chance of winning the treble this season.

Hernandez, 24, scored two goals as United booked a fifth round clash with Reading, keeping Sir Alex Ferguson's side in the hunt for success in the FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League.

United last achieved the feat in 1999 and Hernandez believes the depth in attack at Old Trafford makes the ambition a strong possibility.

"It's very pleasing. The most important thing for me right now is to win the Treble. We have that chance," he said. "We're very happy, we're very pleased because we scored four goals and we got through in the FA Cup.

"All the people should know we want to win this one, the Champions League and the league. "I want to win all three. I want to win the Treble. That's on our minds."

Ryan Giggs scored the opener for United with an early penalty and he earned significant praise from team-mate Anderson who believes the veteran is an invaluable part of the United line-up.

"Ryan Giggs is the best player at the club," Anderson said. "He has been here for 20 years and he wants to win another FA Cup. Every competition is important for Manchester United.

"Can we win all three? Of course, we have unbelievable players and the gaffer could play two or three teams."
