Chelsea’s Marko Marin could be set for a loan spell in a bid to resurrect his ailing international career with Germany.
Marin, 23, moved to Stamford Bridge from Werder Bremen with a big reputation but has failed to establish himself due to the presence of Oscar, Juan Mata and Victor Moses in similar positions making just eight first-team appearances.
Russian newspaper Izvestia claim that CSKA Moscow are one of the clubs to enquire about Marin’s availability, but they are not alone.
"I will not hide the fact that Marin has several interesting offers of a loan until the end of the season," Marin’s agent Fali Ramadani said.
"I cannot name clubs, but I can say that the offers come both from western and eastern Europe.
"Marko wants more playing time, but we understand that at a major club like Chelsea there will always be serious competition for places.
"Marin feels good in London but in order to play regularly for the German national team he needs to be a first-teamer.
"We'll have a conversation soon with the Chelsea hierarchy about all possible options for him to continue his career."
